If you’re packing up for a move, don’t forget to go through your place on last time to look for these often overlooked items!
Common things overlooked when packing for a move:
Bathroom shower curtains and bath mats since they may be used the morning of the move.
A bath towel may also be forgotten because it may be hanging behind the door.
A bathroom plunger may also be left behind because it was hidden behind a toilet.
Over the door hooks on closets and bedroom doors. These hooks are not noticed because they are hidden behind an open door when you’re looking at the empty room. Anything still hanging on these hooks behind doors may be easily forgotten.
Kitchen dishes and utensils that are still in the dishwasher.
Items stored on the top of kitchen cabinets that may have been overlooked when packing.
Clothing left inside the dryer might be forgotten because you did a last minute load of laundry and the dryer is selling with the house.
Window curtains or valances may be forgotten because they may blend in with window blinds that are staying in the house.
Some items in attics or basement areas, because sometimes things in deep storage located on high shelves or near the roof eaves may be missed when packing.
Phone chargers and laptop chargers are sometimes forgotten because they have always been plugged into the wall and feel like a part of the house.
